Who We Are

We are an interdisciplinary team of academic researchers and industry professionals dedicated to improving the health of the environment and human populations across multiple dimensions ranging from the local community to the international level. Our team provides complementary expertise in agriculture, biology, biostatistics, ecology, epidemiology, epigenetics, environmental health, microbiology, public health, and toxicology. Given the increasing trends in global climate change, the impact of environmental exposures on the natural environment and human health are becoming more significant. As such, we are particularly interested in the following areas of study:

  • Pollen and air pollution exposures of childhood allergic diseases

  • Epidemiology and toxicology of microcystins

  • Harmful algal blooms in agricultural irrigation
